Christmas Celebrations
Christmas celebrations were unique in the college. A week before the celebrations students began their preparation. Each class prepared a carol. There were posters on the notice-board. A crib that identified itself with the cries of the poor on demonetization, distress of farmers, pains of women, dalits and tribals was put up. On 23rd December at 12.00 noon in the college hall the function began with inter-class carol singing. The Christmas message was given by Fr. Solomon from the Resurrection Church. He urged students to be instruments of God’s peace to those in distress. The Principal highlighted the aspect of Jesus as a refugee and how God has to be found in the excluded in society. Students were offered a piece of cake and a calendar was given to all the students. The function ended with Santa Claus wishing all students a happy new year 2017
